Mark McKeag joined LGNZ in 2020, drawn by the chance to support councils and the passion the team showed for connecting and strengthening local government. His career has spanned major project procurement, programme management and independent consulting, giving him the skills to deliver complex, multi-part projects with agility and precision.

What keeps him motivated is the people. “Everyone you meet is passionate, dedicated, and willing to share their expertise. It’s humbling and inspiring.” He’s proud of elevating the Road Efficiency Group programme and delivering the Streetlight profiles project, both now creating real impact for councils.

Off the clock, Mark enjoys the Kapiti Coast outdoors, football with his local team, gigs in town, and time with his two young daughters.
