Terms and conditions

Before you jump into networking, learning, and all things local government, here are some basic rules to keep in mind.

By buying a ticket to our event, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Ticket details

  • Tickets are for the specified event(s) only.
  • Your ticket gives you access to those events.

Payment and cancellation

  • Payment can be made by credit card or invoice.
  • Invoices will be sent before the event and must be paid in full by the due date.
  • Processing fees are non-refundable, even if you cancel your ticket.

Cancellation policy:

  • Cancellations must be made in writing at least seven working days before the event.
  • If you cancel:
    • More than 7 working days before the event: You’ll only be charged the processing fee.
    • Less than 7 working days before the event: You’ll be charged 100% of the ticket price.

Transferring your ticket

  • Can’t attend? You can transfer your ticket to someone else in your organisation.
  • To arrange a transfer, email us at events@lgnz.co.nz.

Liability

  • Your registration fee doesn’t include insurance. We recommend you arrange personal insurance for travel, accommodation, and belongings.
  • LGNZ is not responsible for financial losses, injuries, or damage to property during the event.

Behaviour

  • LGNZ may remove anyone from the event for disruptive, offensive, or inappropriate behaviour.

Entry

  • LGNZ reserves the right to refuse entry for any reason. Attendance is at LGNZ’s discretion.

Photography and video

  • Photos and videos may be taken at the event and used for promotional purposes.

Event changes

  • While we aim to stick to the plan, we reserve the right to change the event programme if needed.

Acceptance of terms

  • By buying a ticket, you confirm your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
