Terms and conditions
Before you jump into networking, learning, and all things local government, here are some basic rules to keep in mind.
By buying a ticket to our event, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Ticket details
- Tickets are for the specified event(s) only.
- Your ticket gives you access to those events.
Payment and cancellation
- Payment can be made by credit card or invoice.
- Invoices will be sent before the event and must be paid in full by the due date.
- Processing fees are non-refundable, even if you cancel your ticket.
Cancellation policy:
- Cancellations must be made in writing at least seven working days before the event.
- If you cancel:
- More than 7 working days before the event: You’ll only be charged the processing fee.
- Less than 7 working days before the event: You’ll be charged 100% of the ticket price.
Transferring your ticket
- Can’t attend? You can transfer your ticket to someone else in your organisation.
- To arrange a transfer, email us at events@lgnz.co.nz.
Liability
- Your registration fee doesn’t include insurance. We recommend you arrange personal insurance for travel, accommodation, and belongings.
- LGNZ is not responsible for financial losses, injuries, or damage to property during the event.
Behaviour
- LGNZ may remove anyone from the event for disruptive, offensive, or inappropriate behaviour.
Entry
- LGNZ reserves the right to refuse entry for any reason. Attendance is at LGNZ’s discretion.
Photography and video
- Photos and videos may be taken at the event and used for promotional purposes.
Event changes
- While we aim to stick to the plan, we reserve the right to change the event programme if needed.
Acceptance of terms
- By buying a ticket, you confirm your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
