Partnership services

The demand for councils to ‘do more’ while ‘keeping rates down’ seems never ending. Our partnerships services offer access to new tools that can help.

Mott MacDonald

Mott MacDonald has been supporting infrastructure clients across the globe with their carbon reduction journey for over 10 years. LGNZ has partnered with Mott MacDonald to introduce the Moata Carbon portal in New Zealand. This initiative is considered a crucial initial step for councils on their journey to reduce carbon emissions. It provides evidence of how designs are influenced to be more environmentally friendly and can be used for measuring, reducing, and reporting carbon emissions.

Often those in a position to make the greatest carbon savings are not the same individuals who quantify carbon using the Moata Carbon Portal so Mott MacDonald's Carbon Dashboard can be used by stakeholders to measure, manage and mitigate infrastructure carbon through design innovation, informed decisions and stakeholder engagement.

Smart Power

LGNZ has partnered with Smart Power to help councils fully realise the savings related to streetlight usage. The electricity market has very strict rules about how energy is accounted for and our solution utilises dimming to reduce operational costs and reduce carbon offsetting.

Dot Loves Data

Dot Loves Data is a data science firm in New Zealand. They specialise in offering insights about communities, engagement effectiveness, targeted funding allocation, operational improvements, enhancing customer experience, developing data strategies, and conducting evaluations and research. They can help you understand your community in detail by providing data-rich information about demographics, unemployment, business resilience, economic strength, health, education, access to services, environment, deprivation levels, gambling, and crime for every suburb or township.

ArcBlue is a leading consulting, analytics, and training firm that specialises in procurement and supply chain. With over 30 years of experience, ArcBlue provides comprehensive programmes in procurement capabilities, negotiation, change management, and category management, as well as competency assessments, spend analytics and social and substantiable procurement advice.

Eastern Bridge

Eastern Bridge was established to connect New Zealand communities, schools, and businesses with Asia. Their online tool, Hongi, is a multi-lingual online portal that helps councils engage with migrant communities by providing news, information, and e-commerce opportunities.

iLign and LGNZ have partnered to bring you Legend, a toolset to help local government agencies visualise their organisation in dynamic storyboards. Legend allows strategies, long-term plans, projects, programmes and business lines to connect and provide real-time information for mayors, councillors, leadership teams, staff, stakeholders and external partners.
