Children's Toolkit
This toolkit is a practical guide for New Zealand councils on how to involve children and young people up to 25 years of age in council planning and decision-making.
We want it to be a centre for council staff to share, develop best practice and encourage creative ways to involve children and young people.
Councils requested a resource, with examples and tips, to help them in their planning and services for children and young people.
Here it is. It is not a definitive guide. It is a start.
Contribute ideas and consultation experiences, we will update the toolkit examples on a regular basis.
