LGNZ offers support to Canterbury region
Following the magnitude 6.3 earthquake to hit Canterbury on 22 February affected councils are confirming what assistance is required and LGNZ will assist where needed.
We need to give the mayors of the affected councils the time to work with their council officers and emergency response teams and help the people of Canterbury.
When the time is right LGNZ can assist by ensuring any assistance from councils is coordinated.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to our colleagues at the councils in the Christchurch region.
