Waste Minimisation Fund open for applications
The current funding round of the Waste Minimisation Fund closes on 1 March so the time to get your applications in is now!
The fund supports projects to promote or achieve waste minimisation and is administered by the Ministry for the Environment. Approximately $12 million will be available over two funding rounds in 2011.
Projects which received funding in 2010 included nappy composting facilities, marae-based recycling projects in remote areas, eDay events and education campaigns around packaging and waste.
