Get in early for the Community Boards' Conference and Community Board Awards
Earlybird registrations are now open for the Community Boards' Conference in May, hosted by Rotorua District Council.
This year's conference from Thursday 5 May - Sunday 7 May is planned around the theme "Communities on board - the changing face of community governance." The conference will examine the relationships, advocacy and communications boards have with their communities, as well as the implications of the Auckland amalgamation.

During the conference winners in the Community Board Best Practice Awards will be announced with nominations for the awards closing on 28 February.
The awards recognise excellent projects in local government in a number of categories.
