Nominations open for IPANZ Gen-i Public Sector Excellence Awards

Nominations for the 2011 Public Sector Awards are now open.

Local government has previously had two winners in these awards, both in the Te Puni Kōkiri Award for Crown-Māori Relationships category (Taupo District Council in 2010 and New Plymouth District Council in 2008.)  It would be fantastic to have more of the important work done by our councils recognised this year.

Projects and initiatives which are nominated are assessed according to their vision, innovation and results achieved.

Nominations close on 7 February so be in quick.  Find out more about the nominations process.

Finalists will be published on 4 May and award winners will be announced in June.
