Prime Minister Helen Clark, Former Australian Prime Minister, Hon Paul Keating, world renowned ecologist Professor David Bellamy, and three Cabinet Ministers will lead the line-up of speakers at Local Government New Zealand Conference at the end of July, President Basil Morrison said today.
This Private Member's Bill passed its third reading on the 25 June 2003. Local government has a role to play in a decriminalised sex industry. Specifically, its role is in managing the location of brothels and any adverse effects potentially associated with the business of prostitution including signage.
