New Zealand Community Boards' Executive Committee

The role of the Community Boards' Executive Comittee (CBEC) is to be an advocate and leader.
CBEC conserves, protects, promotes and advances the role and interests of community boards in local government. It aims to be accountable to and representative of all community boards nationally. It works within the overall framework of LGNZ.
CBEC represents the six geographical zones of member authorities described in the LGNZ rules. There is one representative and one deputy representative from each zone. The term of office is three years.

- Mike Mora | Zone Five NZCBEC Representative | Riccarton/Wigram Community Board
- Adrienne Staples | Mayor, South Wairarapa District Council | National Council Zone Four Representative | Ex-officio on NZCBEC

Since September 2001, CBEC has a status equivalent to that of an advisory committee to the National Council of LGNZ.
