New Regional Chairs
Positive Results. Successful Meetings.
A regional council chair has a unique role in local government. In our half day workshop you'll discover the art of successfully managing meetings and pick up a few tricks of the trade. In the afternoon and the following morning you can join all Chairs for their regular Regional Affairs Committee (RAC).
An optional dinner for all Chairs will also be held on the evening of the first day.

This half day workshop gives a full run down of what life will be like as a regional chair. Our experienced facilitators will share their experiences, offer insightful advice on how to reach successful outcomes, and provide an introduction to LGNZ and the strategic issues the RAC has on their agenda.

Workshop fees
- Members: $225 + GST per participant.
- Non-members: $275 + GST per participant.

Cancellation policy
An appropriate substitute, ie elected or staff member, is welcome 24 hours prior to the workshop commencement. Please advise the replacement's name for printing purposes. A full refund will be given if cancellation is received 3 working days prior to the commencement of the workshop. No refunds will be given for cancellations received less than 3 working days prior to workshop commencement.
LGNZ reserves the right to substitute facilitators or reschedule or cancel workshops in circumstances beyond its control.
