Financial Governance 102

Bespoke session. Applied insight.

This unique workshop is only run as an in-house own council session for elected members who have completed FG 101. We use your own council's financials to help you to take the next steps towards understand financial issues, consequences and financial requirements.

Key Learnings

The session focuses on your Council's issues and any issues/topic you wish to discuss. Including the implications of acquiring assets and options, plus the costs of borrowing. We will discuss the linkages between levels of services and levels of rating including the use of targeted rates.

Workshop Fees - $595 per person, per day

In-house, Own-Council Workshop - $5,950 for groups of up to & including 13 people, then $300 per head for each additional attendee.

Cancellation policy

An appropriate substitute, ie elected or staff member, is welcome 24 hours prior to the workshop commencement. Please advise the replacement's name for printing purposes. A full refund will be given if cancellation is received 3 working days prior to the commencement of the workshop. No refunds will be given for cancellations received less than 3 working days prior to workshop commencement.

LGNZ reserves the right to substitute facilitators or reschedule or cancel workshops in circumstances beyond its control.
