Local Government New Zealand is a national organisation that represents the interests of 85 local authorities throughout New Zealand. It works to secure national legislation and policies relevant to local government and to deliver best practice advice to the sector.
We are seeking a part-time Information Centre Assistant to contribute to the efficient functioning of our in-house library and records management centre.
The position reports to our Information Centre Manager and involves a variety of tasks including: paper filing, electronic filing, assisting with cataloguing, and dealing with information requests and enquiries. The role also involves Reception cover for five hours a week and on a backup basis as required.
The position is for 20 hours a week, preferably four hours a day.
