2010 Meeting Dates
Local Government New Zealand meeting dates for 2010 were confirmed at the National Council meeting held in December 2009.
In most instances the previous year's schedule has been replicated unless otherwise requested following consultation with Zone Chairs, Sector Chairs and other key stakeholders. The following considerations have been taken into account:
▪ National holidays
▪ adequate timeframes for appropriate reporting
▪ major events already determined
We have made a conscious effort to achieve a logical sequence of meetings in order to develop, finalise and communicate issues in a timely manner to the sector whilst ensuring opportunities for attendance at all meetings/events is at a premium.
