  • describe the importance of good procurement to Councils' service delivery and performance outcomes; and

By the end of this webinar you will be able to:

  • review what social procurement is and why councils should be focusing on this area;
  • describe how social procurement can be applied within your council; and
  • reference real examples of how social procurement has been successfully implemented within organisations. 

Managing Cost and Value / 15 November

By the end of this webinar you will be able to:

  • provide clarity on both cost and value within a local government setting;
  • list the main drivers of value; and
  • describe how using best practice will reduce cost and gain further value through your procurement activities.

Probity in Local Government / 12 December

By the end of this webinar you will be able to:

  • identify what the negative behaviours are that need to be deterred, reduced and eliminated;
  • describe the positive behaviours that need to be encouraged and increased; and
  • explain how to balance the needs of ensuring probity and obtaining value for money.
