Councils as leaders have an important role to play in the community to ensure Council work is undertaken in an environment that is healthy and safe for all people involved and who may be affected by Council work.

About the Presenter

Olivia Grant, Partner, Duncan Cotterill

Olivia leads the health and safety and employment law team in Duncan Cotterill’s Wellington office.

She acts for a range of organisations, from large corporates, SMEs, government departments, charities and not for profits in all matters relating to employment and health and safety, including Worksafe investigations and prosecutions, training, compliance and implementation of relevant health and safety policies and procedures. She has experience in a range of industries including forestry, manufacturing, agriculture, education, construction, and hospitality.
