As part of EquiP's Climate Change Series, this webinar will provide insight into how councils can make decisions and take control of services and related infrastructure affected by climate change impacts and hazards. 

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this webinar you will be able to:

  • describe the ability that councils have to stop or limit the provision of three waters services and infrastructure, roads and bridges and flood/erosion protection works;
  • explain the decision making requirements that a council should follow when making decisions to stop or limit the provision of services and related infrastructure;
  • recognise the importance of ensuring that resilience is built into any infrastructure developments; and
  • explore by way of case studies, a range of work that has been undertaken by councils.
