EquiP is Local Government New Zealand’s (LGNZ) commercial Centre of Excellence, assisting LGNZ members to deliver greater value to ratepayers through a collaborative approach to sharing best practice, leadership, management and organisational performance.
EquiP’s professional development programme has established a strong reputation and solid track record for the delivery of high quality professional development services for the local government sector. The programme is now entering an exciting new growth phase and we are looking for an exceptional operator with a strong customer service ethic to join our small dynamic team to take the business to the next level.
The Professional Development Coordinator is responsible for managing all operational aspects of the planning and liaison, organising, scheduling, delivering, and accounting for EquiP’s professional development programme while always supporting EquiP’s business development and customer service objectives.
Key responsibilities include coordinating professional development events via traditional or digital platforms, liaising with service providers and stakeholders, preparing training collateral, managing programme registrations and maintaining robust administrative and financial systems and procedures. The Coordinator will either complete the task or manage the delivery of these outputs as appropriate to the situation to ensure our operation runs without a hitch.
